On August 11th Sevastian got baptized at the Lutheran Church of Hope. This was a very special time for us and so we decided to have a dinner at our house afterwards to celebrate this joyous time :) I have to admit that Carl is a GREAT guy...his mom and him did all the cooking and I cannot thank them enough for ALL of their help and hardwork!!!
On August 17th Carl and I have decided to take a night for ourselves to go to the fair and leave the kids with my parents for the entire night. You got it! That means Sevastian is getting older...his first overnight :(
On August 18th we took both the kids in the morning to the Iowa State Fiar and then at night my parents watched Sev again while we took Sayli. They had a blast! Sayli was an extremely big girl and rode her very first roller coaster.
Then on August 24th Sevastian had his 9th month checkup...Oh my goodness, can you believe it? Our baby is not quite a baby anymore! Where does the time go?
And then you want to talk about a baby that isn't a baby anymore??? Sayli turned 4 years old on August 26th so we are threw her a "hello kitty" birthday party at our house on August 25th.
I just don't understand where the time is going....
